About Us

 

Following a storied background buying for, owning and operating home goods retail stores, D & K Sales, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Dennis and Kathy Perkins, bringing a unique understanding and expertise to the selling side for manufacturers.

While initially representing a couple of manufacturer clients regionally selling into retailer chains, D & K Sales, Inc. quickly grew in responsibility managing large scale retail rollouts for major national big box retailers.

Over the following 10+ years the brick & mortar business grew rapidly, developing a reputation for successful sales representation, especially within the home, home textile, home furnishings, and home décor categories. In 2011 D & K Sales, Inc. began opening, managing, and growing eCommerce retail channels, becoming the catalyst for an entire new division and service for our clients.

In 2013, Royce Perkins joined the family business leading our eCommerce efforts across a multitude of retailers. Fast forward to today, we have a growing team supporting 20+ clients across 30+ retailers.

Dennis Perkins

Having begun his career owning a chain of retail stores then becoming a sales representative for manufacturers, Dennis has the unique background to truly understand all sides of the business. With 40+ years’ experience, Dennis has built long term relationships with domestic and import manufacturers, factories, and retail store buyers and management. His extensive knowledge, relationships, and extra-ordinary services enable D & K Sales, Inc. to bring the best opportunities to market for our clients and retailers alike.

 

Royce Perkins

Joining D & K Sales, Inc. in 2013, Royce brought a fresh focus on eCommerce for existing clients, quickly expanding our dedicated eCommerce division. Over the last 11 years, Royce has developed a robust team of eCommerce professionals to support the rapidly growing and evolving online sales world for our clients. Royce enjoys being in the trenches, developing client strategy, partnering closely alongside clients, and ultimately driving growth.


The Team

D & K Sales, Inc. is supported by top industry talent with in depth experience across our supported retail channels, both in store and online. This includes a full sales support and account management team who drive sales, analyze the business, and manage the relationship with the retailers. On the eCommerce side they are supported by our data team and advertising team, ensuring product is well displayed on site and demand is driven through a multitude of advertising tools retailers offer today.
